October, 2008 - the Virus Bulletin tests this month focused on the Windows Server 2008 platform. According to the Virus Bulletin report, avast 4.8 Server Edition, which was developed specifically for the server platform, displayed "highly impressive" detection rates, detecting all viruses on the Wild List with no false positives for which it has received another VB100 Award.
February, 2008 - In the latest Virus Bulletin tests (February, 2008, Windows 2003 Server) avast! 4 Server Edition again detected all ItW viruses (i.e. viruses known to be 'in the wild') and was given another VB100% award!
